my husband at the time and i lived in 2 different states and i never got any divorce decree. are we really divorced? i’ve searched both states’ data banks and court records. nothing on file.
other than never receiving any divorce decree papers, he knew how to get a hold of me. Email, telephone, and address. Nothing ever. I’m currently engaged for the last 2 years and need to know before we get married if I’m divorced from my ex. Otherwise, we’ll have to postpone until I am.
